Timothy M. Murphy is a Partner and Patent Attorney at Nutter, with a focus on patent litigation and the development of complex intellectual property portfolios, admitted to practice in New York, California, and Massachusetts. With extensive experience in intellectual property law, Timothy has held several leadership roles within the Boston Bar Association, including Chair of the Education Committee and Co-Chair of various committees related to intellectual property. Timothy has also contributed to Massachusetts Continuing Legal Education (MCLE) as Co-Chair of multiple annual Intellectual Property Law Conferences and as a faculty member for various programs. Prior legal experience includes practicing at Sunstein LLP as a Partner and Patent Attorney and working as an attorney at IBM. Timothy holds a J.D. from Columbia Law School and a B.S. from Columbia Engineering.
