Alana Anderson

Alana Anderson is an experienced higher education professional specializing in diversity, equity, and inclusion. Currently serving as the Inclusion and Belonging Program Manager at The Boston Beer Company since September 2023, Alana previously held the role of Assistant Dean for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology from June 2021 to August 2023. Alana's earlier positions include Director of Programs for Diversity and Inclusion at Boston University, Senior Assistant Director for Multicultural Programs at Babson College, and Adjunct Lecturer at Merrimack College. Additional experience comprises significant roles at Bentley University and MIT, where Alana supported numerous student organizations and initiatives aimed at enhancing community development. Alana earned a Bachelor of Arts in American Government and Politics from Brandeis University, a Master of Science in Higher Education Administration from Indiana University Bloomington, and a Doctor of Philosophy in Higher Education Administration from Boston College.
