Mellisa Thompson Williams has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning multiple industries. Starting in 1998, they worked as a Power House Process Manager at Buckeye Technologies, Inc. In 1999, they joined Owens Corning as a Manufacturing Engineer, where they were responsible for process control and certification. Mellisa then moved up to the role of Area Sales Manager at Owens Corning Trumbull, handling asphalt sales and developing demand for manufacturing uses of asphalt. At Owens Corning, they also held positions as Plant Leader and Operations Leader, managing safety, P&L, and operational efficiency. Later, Mellisa joined Owens Corning Roofing as an Operations Leader (Plant Superintendent). In 2008, they worked as a Plant Manager at Sara Lee, where they implemented various improvement programs and achieved certifications. Mellisa then joined Kellogg Company as a Plant Director and later as a Senior Operations Manager. Mellisa then joined Land O'Lakes, Inc. where they held various roles, including Senior Director Of Manufacturing and Director of Supply and Material Planning. Mellisa recently joined The Boston Beer Company as Vice President Operations and is now the VP External and Small Batch Manufacturing.
Mellisa Thompson Williams completed their Bachelors of Science degree in Engineering (Chemical) at The University of Alabama in Huntsville in 1998. Subsequently, they pursued a Masters degree in Business Administration at Webster University.
