Michael Adler is an experienced professional in the brewing and quality assurance sectors, currently serving as Manager of Quality and Food Safety at The Boston Beer Company since May 2013. In this role, Michael oversees microbiology operations across six breweries and serves as the primary resource for microbiological issues. Previously, Michael held positions at FX Matt Brewing Co as Quality Manager, where responsibilities included overseeing quality operations and managing a complete laboratory renovation. As Brewmaster at Bard's Tale Beer Company, Michael developed innovative gluten-free brewing methods. Earlier experience includes roles as Senior Microbiologist at Poland Spring/Nestle Waters and Lab Technician at Harpoon Brewery. Michael holds a Brewmaster degree from the Technical University of Munich and a BA in German from UMass Boston.
