Alejandro Vera

Alejandro Vera is an experienced professional in the field of food quality and safety, currently serving as Manager of Supplier Quality and Food Safety at Danone since November 2019. Previously, Alejandro held roles such as Quality in Design Manager and Quality and Regulatory Compliance for North America at Dr. Schär, as well as Quality Assurance Specialist at Goya Foods, where Alejandro led a cross-functional team to develop and implement risk assessment systems for suppliers. Alejandro's earlier experience includes serving as a Quality Control Analyst at Industrias Ales SA, focusing on developing analytical methods for food safety, and as Production Supervisor at Vinos Dos Hemisferios, overseeing vineyard management. Alejandro holds a Bachelor of Science in Food Science and Technology from EAP Zamorano and two Master of Science degrees in Food Safety Regulations from The Johns Hopkins University.
