Boston Cares partners with nonprofits and schools to expand their impact by mobilizing diverse people to collaboratively address our community's critical needs. Our programs and service events engage thousands of adults, children, teens, and corporate partners who annually support up to 150 schools and nonprofits, primarily in Greater Boston and eastern Massachusetts communities. Our volunteer impact areas include hunger relief and basic needs; adult education and ESOL tutoring; and youth success. Since 1991, our volunteers have generated over 1.3 million hours of service!
