Marina Kovarsky

Marina Kovarsky is a seasoned mental health professional with extensive experience in psychoanalysis and psychotherapy. Currently serving as a Lecturer at Harvard Medical School and as faculty at the Boston Psychoanalytic Society and Institute, Marina also co-founded the Psychotherapy Institute of Back Bay Postgraduate Fellowship, where postgraduate clinical training in psychodynamic psychotherapy is offered. Additional roles include part-time faculty at Boston College and faculty member at the Psychodynamic Couple and Family Institute of New England. Marina has maintained a private practice since 2008 and holds various previous positions, including Clinical Director at the Boston Institute for Psychotherapy. Marina's academic credentials include multiple postgraduate fellowships in psychotherapy, culminating in a Master of Social Work from Smith College and a Bachelor’s degree from Grinnell College.
