Patricia Tyler

Patricia Tyler is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in continuing education, workforce development, and strategic communication. Currently serving as the Director of Continuing Education at Boston College since March 2017, Patricia established a centralized, revenue-generating function to provide noncredit programming for alumni and the community. Previous roles include workforce development consultant at New England Baptist Hospital, where Patricia developed plans to address staffing shortages, and director of workforce development at Lahey Health, where Patricia created a comprehensive learning program to support staff education needs as the organization expanded. Additional experience includes positions in communications and publishing, with notable contributions at Harvard University and Reed Elsevier, Inc. Patricia holds a Master of Science in Communications Management from Simmons University and a Bachelor of Arts in French Language & Literature and Music from Smith College.
