Rev'D James M. Hairston

Rev'd James M. Hairston serves as the Campus Minister for MultiFaith Programs at Boston College since July 2017, focusing on promoting religious literacy and interfaith dialogue. A dedicated member of The Episcopal Church, Rev'd Hairston has held multiple positions including Priest-In-Charge at St. Augustine & St. Martin and Grace Church, along with various roles in the Diocese of Massachusetts. With a military background as a Brigade Chaplain in the US Army, general duties range from army communications to pastoral care. Rev'd Hairston's academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Human Development & Learning from Lesley University, along with several theological degrees, demonstrating a commitment to both education and religious leadership.
