Associate Professor Of The Practice Of Philosophy at Boston College

Tim Muldoon, Ph.D., currently serves as an Associate Professor of the Practice of Philosophy and Visiting Associate Professor of Philosophy at Boston College since August 2020. Previously, Tim held the position of Director of Mission Education at Catholic Extension, where leadership included managing a $1 million grant program and promoting understanding of systemic social challenges in under-resourced areas of the US. Tim's extensive experience at Boston College from June 2005 to July 2017 encompassed roles such as Special Assistant to the Vice President of University Mission and Ministry, where efforts focused on mission integration among faculty and staff, and Director of the Church in the 21st Century Center, overseeing strategic research and outreach initiatives. Tim's academic tenure began at Mount Aloysius College, serving in various capacities in the Department of Religious Studies, Philosophy, and Theology from 1997 to 2005. Tim holds a Ph.D. in Systematic Theology from Duquesne University, alongside a Master of Theological Studies from Emory University and a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and Theology from Boston College.
