Vaughn Thornton

Vaughn Thornton possesses extensive experience in global engagement and international education. Currently serving as Assistant Director for Programs, Events & Outreach at Boston College, Vaughn has previously held roles as a Program & Outreach Specialist at Global Services and as a recruiter for the Peace Corps. Prior to these positions, Vaughn worked as a facilitator at AMP Global Youth and as a TEFL Teacher/Instructional Designer during a two-year tenure with the Peace Corps in Indonesia, where significant contributions included teacher training and grant management. Earlier educational roles included Regional Director at International Studies Abroad, Program and Teaching Assistant at Bowling Green State University, and Resident Advisor, showcasing a strong commitment to student support and cross-cultural programming. Vaughn holds a Bachelor's degree in Spanish Language Teacher Education, a Master's degree in Cross-Cultural and International Education, and is currently pursuing a PhD in International Higher Education at Boston College.
