Maurice Rahme

Maurice Rahme is a Staff Robotics Engineer at Boston Dynamics since November 2020, specializing in robot controls for the Stretch project, where significant achievements include increasing Stretch's arm speed by over 30% and developing a model-based controller that reduced current consumption by more than 10 times. Previously, Maurice held roles as an Electrical Engineering Intern at ABB, where task automation was implemented for a hotel project, and served as Suspension and Aerodynamics Team Manager with the Edinburgh University Formula Student team, leading design and manufacturing efforts. Additional experience includes an internship at Jaguar Land Rover focusing on Body Control Module programming. Maurice holds a Master of Science in Robotics from Northwestern University and a Bachelor of Engineering with Honors in Electrical and Mechanical Engineering from The University of Edinburgh.
