Orod Bavar

Orod Bavar is a Principal Electrical Engineer currently employed at Boston Dynamics since July 2024, with prior experience at Vicarious Surgical Inc. in the same role from January 2022 to July 2024. Orod has extensive expertise in designing and developing precision digital and analog devices, including industrial meters and controllers, as well as intrinsically safe devices for hazardous areas in compliance with established standards. Previous positions include Principal Engineer at Precision Digital Corporation, where Orod focused on precision device design, and Design Engineer roles at Defcom and Transwitch, specializing in remote monitoring systems and communication IC evaluations, respectively. Academic qualifications include a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute and a Bachelor’s degree from Universidade Federal de Pernambuco.
