Selma Svendsen

Selma Svendsen is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in engineering and operations management. Currently serving as Chief Operating Officer at Boston Dynamics since April 2024, Selma previously held the position of VP of Engineering at RISE™ Robotics from June 2023 to April 2024. From March 2019 to June 2023, Selma worked at PerkinElmer, Inc. in various roles, including Head of PMO and Senior Director of Operations, overseeing instrument NPI transfer to global operations and managing a $200 million R&D portfolio. Prior to PerkinElmer, Selma spent over 15 years at iRobot, leading the Program Management Office and driving strategic initiatives to enhance supply chain efficiency. Selma holds a BS and MS in Mechanical Engineering from the University Džemal Bijedić Mostar and Northeastern University, respectively.
