Chad Hudson

Chad Hudson is an experienced energy trader and manager with a strong background in power and natural gas trading. As the Managing Director of Trading at Boston Energy Trading and Marketing LLC since June 2023, Chad continues to excel in trading operations. Chad's tenure at TransAlta from 2010 includes roles such as Trader/Manager for East Term Trading & Analytics and Managing Director for East and Natural Gas Trading, where responsibilities encompassed strategy and P&L management for a team of over 30 energy professionals, as well as establishing profitable trading businesses. Prior positions at Lancium and Twin Cities Power further enhanced Chad's expertise in energy markets and asset optimization. Chad earned a Master’s degree in Economics from the University of Alberta between 2000 and 2002.
