Tai Pham

Tai Pham has a solid background in data architecture and has worked in various roles throughout their career. Tai is currently employed as a Data Architect at Boston Energy Trading and Marketing. Prior to this, they worked at Mass General Brigham as a Senior Data Warehouse Architect, where they designed and managed data warehouse solutions and implemented data movements between databases.

Before joining Mass General Brigham, Tai Pham worked as a Senior Information Management Consultant at Ironside Group, where they built and managed data ingestion projects and implemented Tableau dashboards for analysis. Tai also worked as the Chief Architect (BI Services) at Cosenta LLC, and as a Data Warehouse Architect at Commerce Insurance (MAPFRE USA).

Earlier in their career, Tai Pham held positions such as Principal Data Architect at PAREXEL International, Data Warehouse Architect at Commerce Insurance (MAPFRE USA), Lead Data Warehouse Architect at Edison Mission Marketing and Trading, Sr Database Engineer at American Student Assistance, and Sr DW Architect at Monster.

Throughout their work experience, Tai Pham has demonstrated expertise in designing and implementing BI solutions, data warehouse management, and utilizing various platforms and tools such as SQL Server, Netezza, Oracle, Tableau, Excel, Alteryx, IBM Cognos BI, and Azure Cloud environment.

Tai Pham began their education at Park Lane College, where they studied Maths, Computer Science, Physics, and Electronics from 1983 to 1987, earning an OA degree. Tai then pursued further education at the University of Bradford from 1987 to 1991, completing a BSc in Information Management.

Additionally, Tai Pham has obtained several certifications, including "Capstone: Retrieving, Processing, and Visualizing Data with Python" from Coursera in October 2017, "Using Databases with Python" from Coursera in July 2017, "Using Python to Access Web Data" from Coursera in June 2017, "Python Data Structures" from Coursera Course Certificates in May 2017, "Academy Accreditation - Databricks Lakehouse Platform Essentials" from Databricks in February 2022, and various certifications from MapR Technologies, including "DA 415 - Apache Drill Architecture," "DA 440 - Apache Hive Essentials," "DA 450 - Apache Pig Essentials," "DEV 350 - MapR Streams Essentials," "DEV 360 - Apache Spark Essentials," "ESS 100 – Introduction to Big Data," "ESS 101 - Apache Hadoop Essentials," and "ESS 102 - MapR Converged Data Platform Essentials." Additionally, Tai has certifications in "Python Specialization (Part 1 of 5)" from Coursera.org and "edX Verified Certificate for Introduction to Python for Data Science" and "edX Verified Certificate for Introduction to R for Data Science" from edX, although the specific dates of completion for these certifications are unknown.
