David Rodriguez has worked in the IT and security fields since 2009. From 2009-2022, they worked as a Network and Systems Administrator at the University of South Carolina. In this role, they were responsible for creating security policy, guidelines, and best practices, as well as SSV (secure system verification) for the Tricare Military Health System. David then attended the University of South Carolina, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology in 2000 and a Master of Library & Information Science in 2002. In 2013, they returned to the University of South Carolina to pursue Graduate Studies in Cybersecurity and Information Assurance, which they completed in 2016. David also obtained an Information Assurance Specialization Certificate from the University of South Carolina and a National Training Standard for Information Systems Security (INFOSEC) Professionals, CNSS 4011 in 2014. Additionally, they have obtained a Learning Kubernetes certification from LinkedIn in February 2022.
