Tammy Grinnell has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Tammy began their career at Genzyme Genetics in 2002, where they worked as a Senior Reimbursement Specialist, managing accounts with an A/R of $2.2 million for west coast clients. Tammy then moved on to become a Group Leader in Client Reimbursement, managing a staff of three employees and overseeing an average of $6 million in A/R. From 2007 to 2011, Tammy served as a Reimbursement Operations Supervisor at Genzyme Genetics, managing a team of billing representatives and overseeing cross-functional interactions with finance, contract maintenance, client management, and laboratory operations.
In 2011, Tammy joined Fresenius Medical Care as a Corporate Study Coordinator, where they facilitated internal and external clinical studies related to Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) and treatment. Tammy'sresponsibilities included consulting on protocol designs, identifying and recruiting dialysis sites for participation in studies, refining research protocols for approval, and monitoring study activity.
Currently, Tammy is working at Boston Heart Diagnostics since 2012. Tammy has held various roles at the company, including Billing and Reimbursement Supervisor, Customer Care Manager, and currently as the Director Customer Solutions. In their role as Customer Care Manager, Tammy supported a large number of external customers and their patients through inbound and outbound customer support, overseeing a team of 18 staff employees. Tammy also collaborated with various internal departments to ensure a consistent and satisfying customer experience.
Throughout their career, Tammy has demonstrated strong leadership and management skills, setting objectives, monitoring productivity, and providing coaching and mentoring to their team members. Tammy has shown expertise in billing and reimbursement processes, effective communication and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, and a commitment to delivering high-quality customer service.
Tammy Grinnell attended College Misericordia from 1994 to 1995, where they studied Business Management. Tammy then transferred to Corning Community College and continued their studies in Business Management from 1995 to 1996. In addition to their formal education, Tammy obtained a certification in Heartsaver CPR from the American Heart Association | American Stroke Association in March 2014.
