Fran Murphy is the current CFO at The Boston Home. Fran has over 25 years of experience in the financial sector, with a focus on the healthcare industry. Fran began their career as an audit supervisor at KPMG. Fran then spent three years as an audit manager at Needel, Welch & Stone, P.C. before moving to Richard H. Daley & Company, CPA's as an audit partner. After four years at Daley & Company, Fran transitioned to the corporate world and spent 10 years as the Vice President and Controller at Harborside Healthcare. From there, Fran spent 2 years 8 months as the CFO at Five Star Quality Care before taking their current position at The Boston Home. During their 11 years 3 months at The Boston Home, Fran has served as both the CFO and CIO. Under their leadership, The Boston Home has been designated a “Center for Excellence in Long Term Care” by the National Multiple Sclerosis Society and is the only facility of its kind in New England and one of only a few in the United States. Fran has also been instrumental in developing Harmon Apartments, supportive independent apartments that are 100% accessible and mixed income, as well as The Boston Home Outpatient Services (B.Fit!), which provide therapeutic and social programs for outpatients.

Fran Murphy has a Bachelor of Arts from the College of the Holy Cross and a Master of Science from Bentley University's McCallum Graduate School of Business.
