Lisa Hanson

Lisa Hanson currently serves as the Sr. Director of Producing Operations at Boston Lyric Opera, a position held since July 2022, where responsibilities include leading artistic and production operations and managing a department of five direct reports alongside a seasonal workforce exceeding 300 individuals. Prior to this role, Lisa spent 16 years at Florentine Opera Company as Director of Artistic Administration, contributing significantly to the company's executive transition and managing a department with three full-time administrative staff and approximately 100 contracted performers. Earlier experiences include company management roles at The Children's Theatre Company and Virginia Opera, focusing on logistics, artist relations, and coordination of auditions. Lisa received a B.A. in Communicative Arts from Wisconsin Lutheran College between 1997 and 1999.
