Anvesh Gurijala

Anvesh Gurijala has had a diverse work experience since 2012. Anvesh began as a Research Intern at the University of Massachusetts Medical School in 2012. In 2013, they became a Design Engineering Co-op at Medica Corporation. The following year, they were a Process Engineering Co-op at Arsenal Medical. From 2015-2016, they were a Graduate Research Assistant at Northeastern University. In 2016, they founded Boston Materials, Inc., where they currently serve as the Chief Executive Officer. Boston Materials is a high-performance materials company that enables manufacturers of industrial and consumer products to break through their design trade-offs with new materials. The company's patented Z-axis Fiber is a lightweight material that has an extraordinary ability to diffuse energy (thermal, electrical, structural). It is produced from reclaimed carbon fiber, enabling new, high-volume, energy-efficient products that have a low carbon footprint.

Anvesh Gurijala holds a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Mechanical Engineering from Northeastern University.
