Chunzhou Pan, Ph.D. has a diverse work experience. In 2020, they began working as a Sr. Materials Engineer at Boston Materials. From 2019-2020, they served as a Materials Engineer Intern at Boston Materials, LLC, where they designed experiments and developed processes for the synthesis of carbon fiber supercomposites, as well as performing mechanical characterization based on ASTM standards. From 2014-2019, they were a Graduate Research Assistant at Northeastern University College of Engineering, where they spearheaded numerical simulation work to understand colloidal forces and torques within multi-particle assemblies using machine learning, investigated structure/property relationships in ceramic-reinforced polymer matrix composites, and worked in an interdisciplinary research team with multiple PIs and members.
Chunzhou Pan, Ph.D. received a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Zhejiang University of Technology in 2013. Chunzhou then went on to earn a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Northeastern University in 2016. Finally, they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy in Mechanical Engineering from Northeastern University in 2020.
