Laura Fletcher

Laura Fletcher currently serves as the Complex Care Behavioral Health Manager at Boston Medical Center, focusing on reducing emergency department and inpatient hospital utilization related to psychiatric illnesses and substance use disorders. With a diverse background that includes roles as a Project Manager Specialist for an HIV research initiative and a therapist for refugees, Laura has extensive experience in public health, social work, and mental health counseling. With multiple degrees from Boston University, including a Master’s in Global Public Health and Clinical Social Work, Laura utilizes a holistic approach to address the social determinants of health and engage underserved populations in care. Additional experience includes working as a school adjustment counselor and holding various educational and marketing positions.
