Ajit Mohekar

Ajit Mohekar is an experienced Model Based Dynamics Engineer currently employed by Boston Metal. Prior to this, they worked at Worcester Polytechnic Institute from 2016 to 2022, where they held multiple roles including Research Assistant, Teaching Assistant, and Graduate Teaching Assistant. In 2015, they were a Manufacturing Intern at Arcatron Mobility Pvt Ltd, where they prepared 3D CAD models of wheelchairs and developed a Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for quality checking.

Ajit Mohekar obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Mechanical Engineering from the Maharashtra Institute of Technology between 2011 and 2015. Ajit then went on to earn a Master of Science (M.S.) in Mechanical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute between 2016 and 2018. In November 2016, they also obtained a Six Sigma Green Belt from the Institute of Industrial and Systems Engineers. Ajit is currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Mechanical Engineering at Worcester Polytechnic Institute, which they are expected to complete in 2022.
