Danny Smart has experience in a variety of roles, beginning with a Lifeguard position at the City of Lynnwood in 2014. In 2016, they started their own business, Smart Firewood Co., where they split, sold and delivered firewood in their area while managing multiple advertisement methods and customer communication. In 2018, they were a Marina Attendant at the Port of Edmonds, and in 2019 they were a Quality Control Intern at CalPortland. In 2020, they were a Supervisor at Gonzaga University and a Mechanical Engineering/Business Intern at SCAFCO Grain Systems Company. Most recently, in 2021, they have been an Operations Team Lead and Operations Engineer at Boston Metal.
Danny Smart graduated from Gonzaga in 2021, with a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering.
