Igor Braverman has over 19 years of professional experience in the engineering industry. Igor began their career in 2000 as an Engineering Officer for August Wind Shipping Co. in Malta. In 2001, they were a Graduate Research Assistant at Odessa National Maritime Academy. From 2004 to 2010, they worked at The MathWorks in various roles, including Senior Consulting Engineer, Training Engineer, and Application Support Engineer. In 2010, they became a Senior Modeling and Simulation Engineer at Draper Laboratory and a Principal Controls Engineer and Senior Controls Engineer at SustainX. From 2014 to 2019, they worked at Altaeros as a Software Engineering Manager, Control Systems. Igor was responsible for recruiting, coaching, and building a team of model-based controls engineers. Finally, they are currently the Vice President of Engineering and Manager, Advanced Automation & Systems at Boston Metal. In this role, they are responsible for setting up the team's vision and strategic direction, performing program management, budget creation and administration, supplier management, contracts negotiation, hiring, coaching, and tasks prioritization.

Igor Braverman's education history includes a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science from the National University "Odessa Maritime Academy" in Odessa, Ukraine from 1996 to 2002. Igor then obtained a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of California, Los Angeles in 2003. Igor most recently completed a Systems Engineering program at MIT xPRO from 2019 to 2020. Igor also holds several certifications from MIT xPRO, including Architecture and Systems Engineering: Models and Methods to Manage Complex Systems, Quantitative Methods in Systems Engineering, Model-Based Systems Engineering: Documentation and Analysis, Models in Engineering, Architecture of Complex Systems, and Third Assistant Engineer - Upper Level from Odessa Commercial Sea Port.
