Nathan Alvord

Nathan Alvord has a wealth of work experience, beginning in 2011 as an Intern at NanoLab. In 2012, they became a Sales Representative at Vector Marketing and Brookstone. Nathan also began their studies at Worcester Polytechnic Institute in 2012, graduating in 2016 with a Mechanical Engineering Major, Mechanical Design concentration, and Robotics Minor. In 2015, they interned at TeraDiode, Inc., and in 2016 they became a Quality Assurance Test Engineer at DEKA Research & Development. From 2018 to 2021, they worked as a Mechanical Design Engineer at American Holt Corp. Most recently, they have been a Project Engineer at Instron since 2021, managing custom-solution test equipment projects for companies and government organizations.

Nathan Alvord attended Worcester Polytechnic Institute from 2012 to 2016, where they studied Mechanical Engineering. In April 2015, they obtained a Certified SolidWorks Associate certification from Dassault Systèmes.
