Cody Nelson

Cody Nelson has a diverse work experience starting from their most recent position at Boston Micromachines Corp as a Sales and Marketing Engineer in 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a Sales Application Engineer at Labsphere, Inc. from 2020 to 2021. Cody also served as a Research Assistant at Clemson University from 2018 to 2020 and as an Associate Engineer at Acutronic USA Inc from 2016 to 2018. Their earliest work experience includes being the Head Lifeguard/Head Lesson Instructor at Goucher College from 2013 to 2016 and a Student Instructor for PHY 116 from January to May 2016.

Cody Nelson holds a Master of Science (MS) degree in Photonic Sciences and Technology from Clemson University. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Physics and Philosophy from Goucher College. Their secondary education took place at Schalmont High School. In addition to their formal education, Cody has obtained several certifications, including Photometry and Lighting Measurement from the Lighting Research Center at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Key Account Management, Learning Salesforce, Technical Sales: The Role of the Sales Engineer from LinkedIn, and IPC-A-610 Acceptability of Electronics Assemblies Training from IPC-Association Connecting Electronics Industries.
