Michaela Ross has a diverse work experience in the hospitality industry. Michaela started their career as a Food Server/Dining Assistant at the University of New Hampshire in 2011. In 2013, they worked as a Hostess at both the Boston Harbor Hotel and Surf Restaurant. Starting in 2014, they joined the Sheraton Portsmouth Harborside Hotel as a Sales and Banquets Intern, where they gained experience in assisting with weddings, social events, and corporate meetings. In 2015, they became an Event Ambassador at the Boston Park Plaza, and eventually worked their way up to roles such as Catering Coordinator, Wedding and Social Events Manager, and Senior Wedding and Social Events Manager. Currently, they hold the position of Associate Director of Catering and Events at the Boston Park Plaza.
Michaela Ross attended the University of New Hampshire from 2011 to 2015, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Administration/Management. In addition to their degree, they also obtained several certifications, including a Bartender Certification from the Harvard Bartending Course in June 2014, a TIPS certification from Health Communications, Inc. (The TIPS Program) in June 2014, and a Delphi certification from Delphi in the Classroom in April 2014.
