Kristin Parker

Kristin Parker serves as the Lead Curator of the Arts at the Boston Public Library, a position focused on overseeing the Arts collections and enhancing research potential through the unification of curatorial efforts. With extensive experience in the museum sector, Kristin previously held roles at the Museum of Fine Arts as the John Singer Sargent Archives & Special Collections Archivist and Curatorial Research Associate, and at the Rose Art Museum at Brandeis University, where responsibilities included a Deputy Director position overseeing museum operations and exhibitions. Kristin's earlier career includes managing collections at the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum and consulting on museum collections and archives. Educational credentials feature advanced training in heritage preservation from ICCROM, and a Master's degree in Archives/Archival Administration from Simmons University, complemented by a Bachelor’s degree in Anthropology from Hampshire College.
