Kyrah Altman

Kyrah Altman serves as the Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) Manager at Boston Public Library since December 2024, and also holds the positions of Chief Executive Officer, Co-Founder, and President of the Board of Directors at Let's Empower, Advocate, and Do, Inc. (LEAD) since December 2012. With a background in mental health advocacy, Kyrah has taken on various roles including Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Lead at BR+A Consulting Engineers, President and Founder of Kyrah, LLC, and National Youth Mental Health First Aid Instructor with the National Council for Behavioral Health. Additionally, Kyrah has contributed to crisis intervention as a volunteer counselor with GW Listens and has actively participated in initiatives aimed at promoting mental health education in schools. Kyrah holds a Bachelor of Science in Human Services & Social Justice and Public Health from The George Washington University.
