Paula Nixa

Paula Nixa is a seasoned professional in cybersecurity and engineering with extensive experience spanning over two decades. Currently, Paula serves as a Principal Engineer and Program Manager for Global Product Cybersecurity at Boston Scientific since August 2021. Prior to this role, Paula worked at IBM in various capacities, including Global Incident Manager and Cyber Security Incident Response Team member, as well as Quality Assurance Specialist for Watson Health. Earlier experiences include serving as a Senior Information Security Analyst at Mayo Clinic, where assessments of medical device security were a focus, and roles as a Procurement Engineer and Project Manager at IBM. Paula holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Minnesota and a Master of Business Administration from Cardinal Stritch University.
