Sam Murthy is currently a Fellow at Boston Scientific, specializing in structural analysis of stents and heart frames, as well as fatigue analysis of braids and stents. Previously, Sam held the position of Senior Mechanical Engineer at Starkey Labs from 2010 to 2014, focusing on structural modeling and vibrations/acoustics. Earlier in their career, Sam worked as a Design Engineer at Seagate Technology from 1994 to 2005, where they designed magnetic bearing control systems and conducted shock and vibration analysis. Sam also served as an Advisor Analyst at Cargill from 2005 to 2010, developing analysis tools for options and derivatives markets. Sam earned a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Toronto.
