Tim Pountain-Holes

Tim Pountain-Holes is an experienced legal professional with a comprehensive background in the healthcare and life sciences sectors. Currently serving as the Sr. Legal Director EMEA at Boston Scientific since July 2017, Tim leads a team of approximately 35 legal and compliance professionals across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, with budget responsibilities and reporting to the General Counsel. Previously held roles include Senior Legal & Compliance Counsel for the UK/Ireland and Nordic businesses at Boston Scientific, Therapy Area Counsel for EMEA at Gilead Sciences, and Associate in Dispute Resolution at Baker & McKenzie. Tim began the legal career with a trainee solicitor position and has also worked as a legal secondee at 3 UK. Tim holds a BSc in Physiology from the University of Leeds and completed his legal training at Nottingham Law School and the College of Law.
