Ryan Losey is a seasoned development professional with extensive experience in the arts and cultural sector. Currently serving as the Senior Director for Institutional Giving at the Boston Symphony Orchestra since January 2024, Ryan previously held the position of Vice President of Development at the Handel and Haydn Society from February 2023 to October 2023. Ryan's long tenure at the Boston Symphony Orchestra includes roles as Interim Chief Development Officer and Director of Foundation and Government Relations from August 2005 to January 2022. Earlier career experience includes serving as the Director of Development for the Boston Youth Symphony Orchestras from 1998 to 2005. Ryan holds a Master of Arts in Musicology from Harvard University and a Bachelor of Arts in Music and Physiology from the University of California, Davis.
