Carine M. Lenders

Carine M. Lenders, MD, MS, ScD, serves as an Associate Professor at Boston University School of Medicine and is the Director of Nutrition and Fitness for Life at Boston Medical Center, positions held since 2004 and 2003, respectively. Lenders has extensive experience in pediatric nutrition, previously serving as an Attending Physician at Boston Children's Hospital until June 2023, and has held academic roles at Harvard Medical School. Internationally, Lenders contributed as a Staff Physician for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Belgium and Médecins Sans Frontières. Lenders holds a Doctor of Science degree in Nutrition from Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health and various postgraduate degrees in Pediatrics and Pediatric Nutrition from prestigious institutions, including Harvard Medical School and the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine.
