Hal Tepfer 🧮

Hal Tepfer is a distinguished professional in the field of actuarial science, currently serving as the Director of the MS in Actuarial Science program and Associate Professor of the Practice at Boston University since January 1998. With extensive experience in actuarial consulting spanning several decades, Hal has held senior roles such as Senior Vice President at CBIZ and Principal at The Savitz Organization, managing actuarial services for diverse clients including pension and health funds. Hal's previous positions include Senior VP & Director at Clark Consulting, Consulting Actuary roles at Diversified Investment Advisors and George Beram & Company, and consulting for businesses of varying sizes at The Pentad Corporation and Tofias PC. Hal started the actuarial journey as an Actuarial Student at CIGNA after earning a BS in Mathematics from the University of Bridgeport.
