Kristina Lentz Capano

Assistant Vice President, School Development at Boston University

Kristina Lentz Capano serves as the Assistant Vice President for School Development at Boston University's Office of Development and Alumni Relations, collaboratively leading the School Development Team and managing a portfolio of donors across 11 schools and colleges. In addition to this role, Kristina previously held the position of Assistant Dean for Development and Alumni Relations at Sargent College. As the founder and principal of KML Coaching and Consulting, Kristina also led the Amplify Gender Equity & Leadership Initiative in 2020. Experience includes serving as Director of Capital & Leadership Giving at Pine Street Inn and President of the Massachusetts Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals. Kristina’s extensive fundraising career includes previous roles at Massachusetts School for Professional Psychology, Harvard Medical School, University of Connecticut Foundation, University of Maine, and Colby College. Educational qualifications include a Master of Arts in History and a Graduate Certificate in Executive Coaching, both from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, along with preparatory education from Northfield Mount Hermon School and H.B. Woodlawn.
