Lizzy Joo

Lizzy Joo is currently a Graduate Student at Boston University since September 2024, pursuing a PhD in Neurobiology and Neurosciences. Prior experience includes serving as a Technical Associate at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology from July 2022 to April 2024 and as the COSI 10A Head Teaching Assistant and Student Support Services Program Peer Tutor for Python and Korean at Brandeis University from August 2020 to May 2022, where Lizzy designed learning modules for first-generation college students. Additional roles include working as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Griffith Lab, focusing on Drosophila melanogaster associative learning, and as a Research Assistant in the Mina Lab at Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. Lizzy completed a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience at Brandeis University in 2022.
