Margaret Bolter

Margaret Bolter currently serves as the Associate Dean for Strategic Initiatives in the Arts & Sciences at Boston University, a position held since January 2020. Prior to this role, Margaret worked as an Independent Consultant with CCS Fundraising from December 2018 to December 2019. Margaret's extensive experience in higher education includes serving as Vice President for Administration and Deputy Chief Operating Officer at Central European University from April 2013 to September 2018, and as Assistant Vice President at CCS Fundraising between May 2007 and March 2013. Margaret's early career featured positions such as Research/Conference Assistant at Demos, Marketing Assistant at Exclusive Analysis, and an internship at Young & Rubicam Advertising. Margaret earned an MSC in Comparative Politics with a focus on Nationalism and Ethnicity Studies from The London School of Economics and Political Science and a BA in History from Mount Holyoke College.
