Michael Pratt

Michael Pratt has extensive experience in technology development and business management, currently serving as the Managing Director of the Office of Technology Development at Boston University since May 2000. In this role, Michael oversees the patenting and licensing of innovative ideas generated from research at Boston University and Boston Medical Center. Previously, Michael held leadership positions including Interim Managing Director and Executive Director of Business Development, focusing on fostering connections between the university and industry. Prior experience includes serving as Global Support Manager at Neslab Instruments, where management responsibilities encompassed Application Engineering, Technical Support, P&L for field services, and maintaining international dealer relationships. Michael holds an MBA from Boston University and a BA in Physics from the College of the Holy Cross.
