Makayla Allia has a diverse work experience, beginning in 2014 as a Nanny/Mothers Helper, where they worked with kids ranging from ages 1-8. Makayla then became a Brand Ambassador for Longfellow's Wayside Inn in 2017, where they combined their two passions of equestrian and social media to promote the company. In 2018, they became the Head of Public Relations for Delta Zeta Sorority. In 2019, they were a Waitress for Longfellow's Wayside Inn and a Strategic Communications Research Consultant for The City of Tuscaloosa, where they conducted secondary, quantitative, and qualitative research on the city's social media pages and presented their findings in detailed reports. Currently, Makayla is an Account Coordinator at V2 Communications, where they provide media relations and account support to 5 clients, manages and creates speaking, award and editorial calendar opportunities, creates social media content, and monitors industry news and trends. Makayla Allia graduated from Marian Private Catholic High School in Framingham, MA in 2018. Makayla then attended The University of Alabama and obtained a Bachelor's of Communication in Public Relations with a double Minor in Communication Studies and Management Communication in 2021. Additionally, they obtained two certifications from LinkedIn in February 2019: Illustrator CC 2019 Essential Training and Photoshop CC 2019 Essential Training: The Basics.
