Abbas Raza

Abbas Raza, Ph.D., currently serves as a Technical Supervisor at BostonGene, where responsibilities include supervising laboratory personnel, managing quality control metrics, and ensuring compliance with auditing standards. Previously, as the Technical Operations Lead at SAGA Diagnostics AB, Abbas established laboratory infrastructure and compliance programs. In earlier roles as the Director of Operations at Absolute Genomics and Principal Genomics Scientist, Abbas focused on molecular testing oversight and developed diagnostic testing methodologies for viral pathogens. Academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Immunology from the University of Vermont, a Master’s in Virology from the National University of Sciences and Technology, and a Bachelor’s in Biochemistry from the University of the Punjab. Additionally, Abbas has extensive teaching and research experience, contributing to knowledge in autoimmune diseases and molecular biology across various institutions.
