Chandra Vellampalli

Chandra Vellampalli has over 15 years of work experience in IT software development and project management. From 2013 onwards, Chandra worked as the Director of IT Software Development at Bostwick Laboratories, where they led development and maintenance efforts for various IT applications. They also implemented Agile scrum methodologies and enhanced change control processes to improve IT services. Prior to this role, from 2009 to 2013, Chandra worked as a Senior Project Lead at Trianz, where they designed and developed software systems for revenue recognition, lab coding, and direct bill invoicing. They also managed a team of developers and acted as a client liaison.

From 2006 to 2009, Chandra worked at Bostwick Laboratories as a Project Manager and Programmer Analyst. As a Project Manager, they managed critical modules of the laboratory information system (LIS) and led a team of developers. As a Programmer Analyst, they participated in requirements gathering sessions and worked closely with the business analysis team. They also interfaced lab instruments with web applications and implemented SQL server functionalities.

In 2005, Chandra worked as a .Net Developer at National City Bank, where they designed and implemented enhancements for the ROL portal using SharePoint and Microsoft Content Management Server. In 2004, they worked as an Application Developer at Stark Technical Group, where they developed an Election Management System (AESM) and web portals for Alabama retirement services.

Chandra Vellampalli completed a Master of Science (MS) in Computer Science from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville from 2002 to 2004. Prior to that, from 1997 to 2001, Chandra earned a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E) in Computer Science from the University of Madras.

In addition to these degrees, Chandra obtained several certifications. In June 2019, Chandra became an AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate through Amazon. In October 2014, Chandra earned a Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) certification. Chandra also holds a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute, obtained in January 2011. Finally, Chandra obtained a Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) certification from the Scrum Alliance in September 2016.
