Jennifer Slothower, DipWSET

Jennifer Slothower, DipWSET, has over a decade of professional experience. Jennifer began their career in 2005 as a Research Assistant for the University of Arizona's Office of Economic Development. Jennifer then worked as a Financial Analyst for Raytheon from 2008 to 2011. During this time, they also held positions as a Job Scout and Outreach Intern for Good Food Jobs, and a Marketing Assistant for Vineyard Adventures. In 2013, they began working as a Business Development Executive for Botanica. From 2014 to 2015, they worked as a Wine Educator for Collina Consulting, and as a Vineyard & Marketing Associate for Azienda Agricola Sukula. During this time, they also served as a Marketing Manager for Driftaway Coffee. In 2019, Jennifer co-founded Waveland.

Jennifer Slothower holds a Master's Degree in Food Culture & Communication (Gastronomy) from the University of Gastronomic Sciences - Pollenzo, obtained between 2013 and 2014. Jennifer also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Interdisciplinary Studies/International Studies from the University of Arizona, obtained between 2003 and 2007. Additionally, they are a Diploma Student of the Wine & Spirit Education Trust, and holds certifications from Microsoft (Excel Master Technician, obtained in May 2004), The Court of Master Sommeliers (Certified Sommelier) and the WSET - Wine & Spirit Education Trust (WSET Level 3 Award in Wines (Advanced) and WSET Level 4 Award in Wine & Spirits (Diploma)).
