Cody Blissett

Cody Blissett currently serves as the Managing Editor for Visuals at The Daily Iowan, a position held since January 2023, and also engages as a Visuals Editor and Photojournalist and Filmmaker. In addition, Cody works as a Freelance Photojournalist for the Cedar Rapids Gazette since August 2023. Prior experience includes roles at Casey's as a Pizza Cook from October 2020 to August 2022, where adaptation to a fast-paced environment and refined communication skills were developed, and as a Customer Service Supervisor at Whitey's Ice Cream from October 2018 to February 2020, where a commitment to positive work ethic and team collaboration was fostered. Cody is pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Cinematography and Film/Video Production at the University of Iowa, with an expected graduation in December 2025.
