Danielle McComas

Danielle McComas is a dedicated professional with experience in admissions and journalism. Currently serving as a Student Employee in the Office of Admissions at the University of Iowa since September 2018, Danielle provides student services, assists with admissions-related issues, and performs data entry for prospective students. Additionally, Danielle has been an Opinion Columnist for The Daily Iowan since January 2019, focusing on local, state, and national politics. Danielle holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a Minor in Spanish from the University of Iowa and is currently pursuing a Doctor of Law (JD) degree at the University of Denver - Sturm College of Law, expected to graduate in May 2024. Previous experience includes serving as a Fall Fellow for Hillary for America, where Danielle managed volunteer outreach and strengthened communication skills.
