Grace Hildahl

Grace Hildahl is an experienced opinions columnist at The Daily Iowan since April 2021, where responsibilities include writing articles for print and online publications, researching and pitching newsworthy stories, interviewing relevant sources, and synthesizing research with personal opinions into coherent articles. Previously, Grace worked as a food service worker at Okoboji Store Bar and Kitchen from June 2018 to August 2020 and served as a summer camp counselor at YMCA Camp Foster from June 2016 to August 2017. Educational achievements include a degree in Journalism/Mass Communication and Sustainability from the University of Iowa, along with a Bachelor's degree in Journalism from the University of Strathclyde in 2019, and a high school diploma from East High School in 2018.
