House Account Sales Manager at Botanical Interests

Susan Berglund has a long and varied work experience. Susan started their career in 1988 as a Manufacturer's Sales Representative for Hill's Pet Nutrition, where they were responsible for building and maintaining relationships with key decision-makers and detailing 150 pet retail store owners and staff members on a line of premium pet foods. In 1995, they took on the role of Inside Sales Representative for VRx Products, responsible for inside sales of veterinary pharmaceuticals and pet dental products to 2,600 veterinarians in an 8-state region of the Midwestern US. That same year, they also took on the role of Marketing Representative for Antech Diagnostics, establishing large volume, high profit accounts in the territory through strategic, targeted marketing efforts. In 1996, they became Territory Manager for Butler Animal Health Supply, pioneering, managing and servicing a territory of approximately 180 veterinary accounts in the Denver Metropolitan area. From 2006 to 2013, they worked as a Sales Associate and Business Owner for The Home Depot and their own home business. Susan then took on the role of Sales Representative/Center Manager for Lincare Holdings, Inc. from 2015 to 2016, responsible for overhauling and reorganizing a failing branch of a national oxygen supply company. Most recently, they have been working as House Account Sales Manager for Botanical Interests, Inc. since 2016, prospecting for new key and independent accounts in a 24-state region in the Midwest and West, evaluating current accounts for upselling opportunities, and collaborating with independent field representatives on managing new accounts.

Susan Berglund graduated from Colorado State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Sciences.
