Carlos Ospina Tarazona has a rich and diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and industries. Carlos is currently the Chief Executive Officer at BotFactory, Inc. where they also hold the positions of Founder, Chief Technology Officer, and Chief Marketing Officer. Prior to this, they were a Research Assistant at Rutgers University, working on an activity classification project based on a Body Area Network of sensors. Carlos used wearable sensors and machine learning algorithms to identify user activities in real-time.

Carlos also has an extensive background in SIDEIN, where they held various roles. As a Technical Director, they worked as a project manager for content management, paperless solutions, and process automation. Carlos upgraded software techniques and methodologies, achieving better project delivery times. Carlos also did the deployment of an Enterprise Project Management solution for the company. Later on, they became the Director of the Commercial Department, implementing a new commercial strategy and increasing high-revenue businesses. As a Commercial Representative, they closed deals with different Colombian government organizations.

In 2003, Carlos founded RANOS and served as the CEO. Carlos was responsible for planning, designing, and prototyping hardware and software for the company's products. The products they developed included an electronic system for oil filtering diagnosis, an on-board filter replacement advisory system for trucks, and a wireless polling system. Carlos also led a team of 20 people in the assembly line and sold products to important companies in Colombia.

Additionally, in 2012, they obtained a Mini-MBA in Strategic Marketing from Rutgers University.
